4-H Fair Time!

For those of you who don't know, my family and I have decided to do the Elkhart County fair instead of the Kosciusko County fair. There are a couple reasons, but mostly because Elkhart has nicer facilities and is the 2nd RANKED FAIR IN THE UNITED STATES! But it's also because the animals there are healthier, so our animals stay healthier.

I'll post pics later.
But don't forget to visit the Elkhart County Fair, July 23rd - 31st :D.

Rabbit Update!

Hey everyone,

Here's the Bunny Scoop!

First, I just thought I'd introduce you to A.H. Gabe (although I call him Red, or sometimes Firecracker). He is a senior Red Mini Rex buck, who tips the scales at 9 1/2 pounds (the weight limit for senior Mini Rex bucks is 3 to 4 1/4 pounds). He is staying at our house until Sunday, when I take him to church in Logansport, IN for my friend Alicia to pick up.

Next, here are the babies! They are out of my Broken Blue Mini Rex doe, Leviah, and Blue Mini Rex buck, iPod. There were 5 in this litter, but 2 died. So we're now at three solid Blues with 2 does and 1 buck.

Well, that's the scoop. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that my birthday was on the 10th. I am FINALLY 13!

Until the next,

Geese!

This morning I was downstairs on the computer, editing some pictures of mine. All the sudden there was a shout down the basement steps: "Kennedi, get up here QUICK! There's some geese outside!" So I ran upstairs with my camera, walked outside, and took this pics. Enjoy!

Um...Eewww

I took a picture of this little fella when I was at Syracuse Park in Syracuse, IN. He was right in the middle of his sun bath when I just about squashed him (He should know better than to sit idly in a human walkway). He needs to start using ProActive or something.

It's Been a While...

Hi everyone,

I know, I know...it's been a while since my last post, but believe me - things happen! Nothing new around here (well, actually, there's been a LOT of new stuff going on around here, but too much to mention in one post). Courtney returned safely from southern IN in March, by the way. Well, my author's head is cramping right now, so I don't have any exciting things to write about. Except my birthday is May 10th, so I'm excited about that. PLEASE comment on this post and tell me how old you think I'll be...I'd like to see the results! I'll give it a couple days and hopefully have a couple guesses.

Until the next,

Some of My Photagraphy

I also thought that everyone would like to see some of my photagraphy. I love taking pictures, and next year in 4-H I'll probably do some more photagraphy. Below are some of my favorite pictures I've taken (the info about each picture will be ABOVE the picture it's describing).

Haha...I really liked this one. It just shows how much of a Jones lover I am!

I think this one's nice. It makes me think of a really warm summer day.

I really liked this one, too. It doesn't really remind me of anything, though :)

This may seem boring to some people, but I LOVE it! It just makes me think of really fresh, spring days.

A VERY Busy Weekend

This week wasn't the busiest. The biggest news is that Courtney got to her destination safely, although she arrived at about midnight. Her step-mom isn't doing well at all, so continue praying. This weekend is very busy. On Thursday, my mom leaves for a 4-night thing for her ladies' weekend, so she'll be getting back on Sunday evening, and Kaylee and I are going to spend Thursday and Friday at the Grimshaw's house, so that we won't have to be alone while my mom is gone and my dad is at work. Also, on Thursday night, my dad has to pick us both up and take us to our 4-H Rabbit Club meeting, which is held the second Thursday of every month. He will then take us back to the Grimshaw's that evening after the meeting is over, and then Kaylee and I will get home on Friday evening. If that doesn't seem busy enough, I have a rabbit show in Columbia City on Saturday, and we have to get up at around 5:00 A.M.. Even though it is pretty busy around here, it does keep us occupied. School is also going really good too.

Until next time,
